About the Silent Auction

I would like to thank the person who bidded and won the silent auction I had a while ago to benefit the Metanoia Outreach. Barb Ruh, owner of Passionate Art Center.
The proceeds of the auction is now going to Metanoia Outreach which will be held at Amaina Christian Church located in Barangay Monteverde, Socorro Mindoro in the Philippines. The outreach was originally dated December 27-29 but later on was moved to January 9-11. Recently, because the organization is waiting for the 3 computers which will be shipped from United States to be donated to Amaina Christian Church, the outreach dates were moved again to January 23-24, 2008.

Organization...Anticipation

As I unclutter my desk today while my little angel is taking her nap, I thought I'd drop an announcement here.

There will be minor changes in upcoming new line of items at Urban Creativity. As I enhanced my skills in sewing, which I learned from my "Lola" (tagalog for grandma) when I was 9 years old. I hope to honor her by including more new sewn items at Urban Creativity.

I remember the times I used to pick up pre-cut fabrics from my Lola's employer and bring it to my Lola's house. She makes duster similar to a smock. It's usually in floral and being in a tropical climes, it has to be airy cotton and short sleeved or sleeveless.
