I recently joined a group called Designing Swanky Moms and I'm glad to have joined it. Designing Swanky Moms or DSM is group of moms who devote their time with their kids at home and create great handmade crafts at the same time. It's a new day today... I slept in for a couple of minutes. Now, while my little angel is taking her morning nap, I'm thinking of what design I should do for the mirror series I'll make. It's a plain framed mirror 10"x10" in size.
I thought of a bamboo painting or just decoupage the wood frame. There's so much things I can do, but I can't decide what to.
This is the first one I made a while ago. Not included in the series I will make. I handpainted this with acrylic paint and some alcohol ink to create a weathered look. I decoupage flat scrapbook paper and silver hearts. This is rustic mirror in my Etsy store but I entitled this "Give the Gift of Hearts".
