You don't hear this question that often and many people are not so sure what this really mean in their life. However, there are people also who have been empowered by their "faith" they were able to do amazing things yet other unbelieving people see it as the person's ability and not an act of faith.
"But i trust in you, O Lord; I say You are my God;
My times are in your hands; deliver me from my enemies
and from those who pursue me.
Let your face shine on your servant;
save me in your unfailing love."
Psalm 31:14-16
This is a song of David and this will be my song for the week. I've never felt so peaceful in my life as before. It is true that when we lack faith, we don't hear His divine voice in our ears. We can't feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in our life, therefore we are not empowered. Therefore, we feel that everything is through our own effort and not God's work. But that's far from what i'm experiencing right now. I remember the times i was so distressed and feeling tired of everything. Because of those matters in my life which is not so important yet I gave too much attention, I'm giving less time for Him.
God has His own way to take me to a better place for me to sit, listen and trust Him.
One month ago, i prayed and ask for Him to show me what should be my decision, what is His will for me and where will He bring me. And now, up to this moment, I'm still amazed by how He orchestrated everything. From the time i realized that it is His will for me to ease up and take the exit to the time that i woke up aboard a plane to New York, then to Charlotte. Looking down the window, I am bewildered by the beauty and vastness of His glory. And that is all because of faith...I don't think my faith is a big as a mustard seed already. Yet, I can proclaim that because i entrusted everything to Him, He was the one in control of all the things that happened this past weeks. I am learning, I am striving to trust Him more...because I'm wanting more of Him in my life as much as God loves me as I am.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose."
